Cathedral Lake Trail Details

The hiker will cross a very large boulder field, balancing on rocks, and then reach a series of eight switchbacks (sharp turns) on a very steep mountainside.
Go early! You'll want to get up to the lake and back down to the trailhead by the time typical mid- to late-afternoon summer thunderstorms hit.
