The black/grey/red colorway instantly attracted Jordan-heads, leading some to consider getting the pair despite not being Air Max enthusiasts. The colorway was most commonly attributed to the Air Jordan IV (4) Black/Red,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and that comparison is not far off. The lace plackets and midsole feature a grey tone, much like the midsole and the lace “wings” seen on the AJ4. While these have released at overseas retailers like Schuh-You,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a stateside release is still up in the air – Euros get a ton more Air Max ‘trainers’ than we do.
