All right, my little fashionistas and style afficionados, I am going to have to ask you to do me a little favor.? I am going to have to ask you to ignore the cotton candy hair in the photograph to your left.? I am going to have to ask you to ignore the fact that we have no idea what this model looks like, whether she is lovely or has a face that looks like she got hit by a Mack truck full of ugly.? I am going to have to ask you to ignore the fact that it looks suspiciously like she has no arms, as well.? I know that is asking a lot, but I have to,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], because I want you to specifically focus on the dress itself.
This is part of Comme des Gar?ons new line,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Style is praising it for being so geometric.? I have to say that, styling choices aside,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I myself would have definitely done better in my high school geometry class if some of the examples in the text book looked like this.? The squres inside the circles of the dress are a stunning juxtaposition.? I am not really sure if I actually like it, but I do have to admit that it definitely draws the eye.
Nor is Comme des Gar?ons the only designer label inspired by geometric figures this season.? Alexander McQueen is giving math a try as well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], along with such innovative names as Balenciaga, Christian Lacroix, and Dolce & Gabbana.
