| Panama's government Tuesday declared a sanitary alert to prevent the spread of cholera,asics running shoes, which has been sweeping across Haiti since October.
"Panama is not immune from this disease since it is a transit country," Panamanian Health Minister Franklin Vergara said when announcing the measure. Vergara said the measure includes the reinforcement of health checks at the main entry points into the country.
