WAYNE, Mich. – The owner of a suburban Detroit furniture store who was pulled from a burning building after a natural gas explosion destroyed his business, killed two people and injured two others remains in critical condition. University of Michigan Hospital spokeswoman Shantell Kirkendoll says Thursday that Paul Franks remains in the burn unit at the medical center in Ann Arbor.
