For anyone in general, think about their hobbies and interests. ? Separate the adult themed basket ideas and think about the holiday or occasion for the gift. ? Choose Items to Fill the Gift Basket Once a Theme is Picked ? Shop for small items to go with the theme chosen. For example, a Pirates of the Caribbean themed basket could contain pirate "gold" (chocolate coins), a Pirates notebook, a DVD, a Johnny Depp poster, etc. ? Gift baskets can be as small or large as you like and depending on the price the buyer is willing to pay. You can go huge and glamorous or sweet and simple. The sky (maybe the budget) is the limit. Making Beautiful Basket Tips ? A quick trick for large baskets is to fill the bottom of it with packing peanuts. It gives the illusion of a fuller basket and makes the gifts sit higher so they are easier to see. Think about safety when putting in extra filling and making a basket for a child. ? Add a matching trinket or a pretty bow. Be sure to tape the bottom of the bag tight to the basket so none of the plastic is sticking out. ? Instead of cellophane, you can simply add a bow. ? Finish it off with a gift tag and deliver! Other Tips: ? If using fruit, deliver quickly after the basket is made because it will decay quickly. Let the recipient know so they can gift it as soon as possible. ? Use your favorite recipe or recipes found on my blog for adding homemade cookies or candy. ?
