The foreclosures must be valid and legal for your ownership to be vested by a clean title.
You should learn to ask questions to the bank representative. You can also do your research and see if the laws of the place where the foreclosures were made allowed such sale. If you have seen that the papers have no clouds in them you can already be confident that you can make a good investment on those foreclosures.
