Here’s a look at my midyear All-Conference franchises for all six BCS conferences. The National Hockey League recently changed its rules so that shootout wins could no longer be included as tiebreakers for playoff berths directing some to think about whether support for the shootout was waning. However just as NHL executives want playoff berths to be decided based on team play; that does not mean they are against having shootouts during regular season games. After watching another No. 1 franchise fall for the second consecutive week last night,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you have to wonder just how much more craziness is on the horizon in the second half of the year.
We’ll find out over the course of the next few weeks which franchises are "for real,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," but right now let’s take a look back at the first half of the year and appreciate some of the great efforts and individual performances that we’ve seen from some of the nation’s top players to start the year off.

Cox Ovechkin started playing in the Russian Super league with Dynamo Moscow at the age of 16. Making his professional debut in the season 10 years ago in which P. K. Subban scored four points in 21 games. P. K. Subban could spend three seasons there collected 36 goals and 32 assists in 152 career games.
